Chapter 164: In Which Everywhere We Go Bitches Always Know
2 Broke Geeks Entertainment
Not too much happened this week, but we do have stuff, of course! Like our final thoughts on season 2 of "The Punisher", what we think might be in "Kingdom Hearts III" that we haven't seen yet, levels we wish Kingdom Hearts had, some comics stuff and that's about it.
What a week! We've got a lot to cover! "Iron Man 3", "Ghostbusters 3", "Spier-Man: Far From Home", season two of "The Punisher", "John Wick 3" and...oh yeah...what Justin likes to do with hot water.
The title says that we revisit "The Avengers" but that's really a small part of the episode. Justin also went to see a triple-feature of "Unbreakable", "Split" and "Glass". Matt finished the second season of "Big Mouth". The second (and, let's face it, last) season of "The Punisher" drops on Friday. Toy stuff! Comic stuff! Batgirl showing her bullet wound is sexual?
Justin went to see "Escape Room". The Great MCU rewatch continues with "Thor" and "Captain America: The First Avenger" as we play catch-up. Matt is digging "Big Mouth".
Well, it's our end of year/start of year special! We cover a lot of ground: the first trailer for "Us", "Aquaman" review, "Iron Man 2", "Black Mirror's" new special "Bandersnatch", Justin's new NES Classic, Matt is giving "Big Mouth" a whirl, other stuff that happened. It was an eventful couple weeks!
Chapter 159: In Which We Hulk Into the Spiderverse
2 Broke Geeks Entertainment
Our heroes saw "Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse"! Find out what they thought. South Park is done for the season now, so that gets wrapped up. Matt is sad he doesn't like the CW DC shows. Justin is playing a new Looney Tunes game. We revisit the second MCU movie, "The Incredible Hulk."
Chapter 158: In Which The Great MCU Rewatch Begins!
2 Broke Geeks Entertainment
Sooooo much this week after two slow weeks! A "Captain Marvel" trailer, the reveal of the title and first trailer for "Avengers: Endgame", a Superman inspired horror flick, "Susperia", "Creed II", Matt revisited "Iron Man" in the first installment of The Great MCU rewatch and MORE!
In yet another episode where the week was slow, our boys pull it out (hehe) and manage another episode. This week: Daredevil's cancellation, South Park, American Vandal, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Justin read comics, and all other fun stuff.
Man, we're back in another slow period of the year, so this episode is kind of short. Matt watched the new Netflix Christmas movie "The Christmas Chronicles." Justin watched "Cam". Fathom Events is doing a special double feature of "Death of Superman" and "Reign of the Supermen" in January. Geeks gave Bill Maher exactly what he wanted instead of just ignoring him.
Chapter 154: In Which We Talk Nonsense While The World Burns
2 Broke Geeks Entertainment
Halloween recap (Justin saw John Carpenter!), Matt reads some comics. Two episodes of South Park have been on since our last episode! Matt visited the Montreal ToyCon and takes issue with Pop! figure price gouging. Other stuff and junk.
Nothing in this episode matters but "Daredevil". There IS other stuff in this episode. There's stuff about "Avengers" and some toy talk and a touch of comics sprinkled in, but really all that matters is talking about "Daredevil".
Chapter 152: In Which "Daredevil" And "Halloween" Have 'Tegridy!
2 Broke Geeks Entertainment
Oh what a week it's been! The geeks go on down to South Park to hang out with the Marshes as Randy tries to get back his 'tegridy. They go back to Haddonfield to see how Laurie Strode is handling her PTSD. They drop by New York to chat about Iron Fist, Luke Cage and, most importantly, Daredevil. It was a hell of a week!
It's been a bit, but our heroes are still trying to accept that they are, in fact, back in the real world and not on an awesome vacation. But at least there's lots to talk about! Comics, South Park, Dark Phoenix, Creed II, The Good Place and so much more!
Just a little something to not leave everyone hanging for two straight weeks without some input from our heroes. Matt talks briefly. Justin talks longer because he did some more stuff. That just about covers it.
Chapter 148: In Which We Finally Had Things Happen
2 Broke Geeks Entertainment
Matt finished "Star Trek: Discovery". Both geeks weigh in on the newest animated series from Matt Groening, "Disenchanted". Justin went to ScareLA. Our heroes team up more Looney Tunes with DC characters.
After a week off, Our Heroes are back to discuss some random junk. Justin has a second job, Ruby Rose takes harassment over her Batwoman casting, Daredevil is coming back for a third season. Justin reviews "The Meg" and announces a contest. Other stuff. It's just the same old story here on 2 Broke Geeks.
In this episode Matt is pretty sick and way out of it and it kind of shows. Also, Justin isn't in the best of moods, either. And nothing interesting happened since the last episode. Why did we even record this? The world may never know.
