After news broke of the casting of Hawkgirl in the upcoming Arrow/The Flash Spin-Off series, we also found out that another new character had been cast as well. He's the character that was described as "The Traveler" when we heard previously about three new characters we hadn't yet seen on live action television.

Judging A Book By It's Cover
We live in a world where we must be very careful of what we say and who we say it towards. We have to be ever careful of offending every single person who may read our work, see our images, or watch our films. We must be sensitive to everything and everyone. So I’m not surprised to hear that the cover of a comic book has struck a nerve with so many people. The upcoming variant cover to Batgirl issue forty-one shows an image many Batfans will recognize. It’s a callback to the extremely seminal and important book The Killing Joke. It’s in this book that The Joker shoots and paralyzes Barbara Gordon in front of her father, Commission James Gordon. For a very long time after this incident Barbara was confined to a wheelchair and operated as a hero under the name Oracle.

OUTLANDER - PaleyFest 2015
It has felt like time slowed to a crawl as fans of Outlander (Starz) wait for the second half of season one. The midseason finale left us with quite the cliffhanger as Claire is held by the twisted Black Jack.
So on March 12th, all those eager fans had the opportunity (care of PaleyFest) to get excited for the April 4th premiere.

News broke recently that we'd see the younger versions of Jean Grey, Cyclops, and Storm and yesterday we found out that Nightcrawler would be joining the mix. Again its a younger version of the teleporting blue guy, as Kodi Smit-McPhee (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, ParaNorman) has been cast in the fan favorite role. Grodd is Coming!
It's something the writers and the producers over at The Flash have been hinting at for some time now. Our first "easter egg" was thrown in our faces right away in the pilot episode when Barry and Wells pass by a destroyed cage with the name plate reading "Grodd." We next get a little history in a flashback during the episode "Plastique" where we see that five years ago Grodd was a test subject for experiments in the development of mental abilities for interrogation with General Wade Eiling (Clancy Brown) overseeing the work. Eiling wants to take Grodd away from Wells, who refuses, telling Grodd he has other plans for him. More recently in the episode "Crazy for You" we got to see Gorilla Grodd in action as two maintenance workers are show underground in the Central City sewer system which has the name Grodd etched into its walls. They are then brutally attacked by a large ape from the shadows.
