BLACK SAILS, TELEVISION

Review: Black Sails - "XIX"

I have been watching the teasers and trailers anxiously awaiting the mayhem of Black Sails Season 3. I will admit, this episode was a bit anti-climatic for the most part. I was really hoping they would jump right into the Blackbeard storyline, yet I understand their direction in character building (despite my lack of patience). Instead it starts with only a very brief backstory and a fast glimpse of the famous Blackbeard. How awesome is it that Ray Stevenson is playing the legendary pirate? Seriously! Thumbs up!

Lucasfilm Gives Backstory To Popular Stormtrooper!

In an emotional and action packed scene from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, we're introduced to a stormtrooper armed with an electrified baton who faces off with Finn. His emotionally charged "TRAITOR!" scream is well remembered by fans of the film. There's been a lot of speculation surrounding this character and his emotional tie to Finn. Was he just a spurned soldier, offended by Finn's actions or was there a deeper connection? It also seemed that the First Order trooper who streaked his own blood across Finn's helmet had a deeper connection to him as well right? I mean, it sort of started Finn down his "awakening" into turning on the First Order. Speculate no further!

The Binge Watch: Doctor Who - Series 1

In order to decide my next show for my Binge Watch column I took to Twitter. I asked you all to decide for me and it was an extremely close race between Doctor Who and Supernatural. In the end Doctor Who won out, but since it was so close, after I finish all the seasons of Doctor Who, I will move on to all ten released seasons of Supernatural. I will at that point, go to Twitter to decide the next series I watch and review! Without further delay, here's my review of Doctor Who Season One!
