'Suicide Squad' Cast Set!
Big news today as Variety is reporting that the cast for the upcoming DC/Warner Bros film Suicide Squad has been set!
'Suicide Squad' To Begin Production in Toronto
The film that will follow Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in the newly created DC Cinematic Universe is not a Batman solo film, not a Wonder Woman solo film, its not even an Aquaman solo film. No, the first film we'll get after the fallout of Batman v Superman is David Ayer's Suicide Squad. Some may balk at the confidence in such a move when building such a large cinematic universe, but not me. I'm excited to see Task Force X on the big screen and I think it'll do very well if treated in the right way. I love Harley Quinn, and her merry band of villains doing Amanda Waller's dirty work under threat of imminent death.
'Supergirl' Begins Casting Process
Back in September we got the news that a Supergirl show was given a full series order from CBS and that the man behind Arrow and The Flash, Greg Berlanti and Chuck and No Ordinary Family producer Ali Adler would be running things. The premise is rumored to focus on Superman's cousin, Kara Zor-El, as she begins to use her powers that she'd been hiding for years. Now The Wrap is reporting that casting has begun and that Claire Holt best known as Rebekah on The Vampire Diaries and The Originals is up for the title role.
'The Walking Dead' Companion Series Casting News!
According to Deadline, we've got our first casting news for the upcoming The Walking Dead companion series. Frank Dillane and Alycia Debnam-Carey are the first to join the cast. The series is rumored to take place in the same zombie apocalypse as its predecessor but the location and time it will take place has yet to be announced. Dillane is best known for playing Tom Riddle Jr. in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Debnam-Carey was recently seen in the found footage disaster film Into the Storm with former Walking Dead star Sarah Wayne Callies.

Recently, Warner Bros and DC announced that a Suicide Squad film was in the works and that director David Ayer would be at the helm. We've heard that we might see Jesse Eisenberg reprise his role of Lex Luthor from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. There's been a few names making the rounds on the internet about who the studio is eyeing for various Squad member roles in the films. Names like Tom Hardy, Will Smith, and recently Jared Leto in the role of The Joker. Now, Collider is reporting that Harley Quinn has been cast. Margot Robbie (The Wolf of Wall Street, Tarzan) is the name they mention as the actress that would be taking on the role of Joker's right hand and fan favorite Bat-villain.
Top Ten Horror Films Countdown: #1 A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)
When I was 8 or 9 I remember having a nightmare, a bad nightmare. I was being chased by this little red demon thing. He would chase me around my house and then he caught me. That was when I woke up, the first time. You see, I woke up several times in this nightmare. Each time I was sure that I was awake and then that little red demon would pop out again. I believe I woke up three times in the nightmare before I actually was awake. I still remember this nightmare clearly today. I can still picture that little red demon, I still remember the feeling of waking up multiple times, and I remember the fear. Nightmares are something that everyone can relate to. Our minds can do some crazy things even when we're awake. What our minds can do in our dreams and nightmares can be really freaky stuff. Anybody who has ever had a nightmare should be freaked out by this movie.
Top Ten Horror Films Countdown: #2 Alien
Alien is terrifying. Straight up horrifying. Alien excels at creating tension, fear, and everything in between. From the first moment that the chest burster pops through the chest of its unsuspecting victim, Alien succeeds where most horror movies have fallen: creating an enemy that it all powerful. We are terrified because the Xenomorph feels unbeatable and inescapable, especially for the main character Ripley. Try as she might, there is no escaping this menacing creature.

Top Ten Horror Films Countdown: #4 Dawn of the Dead (2004)
Dawn of the Dead starts off like most every other zombie movie: some sort of virus is turning people into flesh crazed maniacs and a small band of people must survive. Sounds like the average zombie movie, right? But Dawn of the Dead isn’t just a movie about zombies. It’s a movie about people and the choices that they make. Where so many other zombie movies go wrong by focusing solely on action with the zombies, Dawn of the Dead cares about the characters first and foremost. And because of this, Dawn of the Dead becomes a movie that will be remembered for a long, long time.

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige spoke with Buzzfeed about the upcoming Superhero Epic and had this to say about the Avengers roster...
Top Ten Horror Films Countdown: #5 The Thing
The Thing is not only one of my favorite horror movies but also one of my favorite movies of any genre. This movie focuses on a team of scientists who are confronted by a shape-shifting alien that assumes the appearance of the people that it kills. This is one of the first horror movies that I remember watching and is a must-watch every time I come across it on TV.
