Before I begin this, I’d like to first insist that I enjoyed this remake of Poltergeist.
All of the actors do well with what they are given. The direction is interesting, bold and well paced. The writing, at the very least, wasn’t as terrible as it could have been. However, as I’ve been putting my thoughts together over the last few days, I continue to find more and more problems with the film.
I love toys. Even more specifically, I love action figures. I always have. As a kid, I had more action figures than you can imagine. As a twenty-seven-year-old man I have...well...more action figures than you can imagine. As a kid, action figures were a way to let my creative young mind act out all kinds of amazing fantasies, from epic space battles to monsters attacking knights in a castle (remember, the Fisher Price Great Adventures line? The one that had pirates and knights and cowboys and monsters and stuff? No? Just me? Oh man, those were great toys!

With filming underway on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel, we've gotten news that both Bebop and now Rocksteady have been cast. Playing Bebop is Gary Anthony Williams and today we learned that Rocksteady will be played by WWE Superstar Sheamus.
Over the past weekend, we attended Wizard World Comic Con in St. Louis. I was able to sit in on a few panels with Billy Boyd, George Romero, Michael Rooker and Jason Mewes, and Hayley Atwell and Lyndsy Fonseca. I was also lucky enough to talk with Michael Rooker and B.J. The network upfronts have been going on this week and it was The CW's turn today. They unveiled the image above for DC's Legends of Tomorrow, the upcoming spin-off of Arrow and The Flash and we also got this trailer as well! With the network Upfronts taking place this week, we were bound to get all kinds of good stuff coming from New York. Today we were informed that CBS' Supergirl would premiere in November and air on Monday nights at 8PM EST. And now....we have a trailer!
